The UAW has already won the right to have a re-vote. If they win, they will start negotiations with owners Trump Entertainment Resorts. On the other hand, Trump Marina Hotel Casino initially did not have to worry about the union.

The ironic part of the present situation is that both of the casino owners can be negotiating a contract for other companies. The casinos are now in the process of being sold and whatever deal is reached will be part of the sale. In the circumstances, the union has threatened to strike at Tropicana.
